We believe that quality is more than testing. High quality should be the goal at each step, in code, performance, security, requirements, accessibility, and usability. We envision high quality across the whole software development lifecycle.  

We built this space for developers, testers, and DevOps specialists to easily share knowledge, connect with like-minded people, and enhance quality in the development process. 

In the ShiftSync community you can find:

Getting Started 

The ShiftSync community is a dynamic space for developers, testers, and DevOps specialists to share knowledge, grow professionally, and have fun together. 

Follow these steps to successfully take off:  

  1. Fill out your profile 🧑 

After you create an account and log in, go to your profile. Add your user photo and share your company name, job title, and location. Add a few words about yourself so that like-minded people can connect with you.  

  1. Introduce yourself 🕴️️ 

To start things off, please introduce yourself in the threads here, sharing a little about yourself, where you work, and what your role is. Let people get to know you.  

  1. Understand the community structure 📘 

There are five main sections in the community space:  

  • Participate: In this section you’ll find a forum where you can ask questions and discuss topics with other community members. You’ll also find missions and challenges there. You can learn more about missions here, but in short they are contests where users can complete assignments, achieve new ranks, and earn points.  

  • Learn: Here you can find articles from industry experts and watch videos and recordings on topics that are interesting to you.  

  • Academy: Do a deep dive into interesting topics and level up your skills with Tricentis training and certification programs.   

  • Events: Our upcoming webinars, masterclasses and trainings are placed in the event section.  

  • Support: Do you want to find more about Tricentis products? Check out our product community.

Accumulating Points, Achieving Ranks, and Showcasing Badges

 Within our vibrant community, you continually earn points through a variety of engaging actions, some of which include: 

  • Active participation in challenges and contests. 

  • Successful completion of missions and tasks. 

  • Providing valuable answers and solutions. 

  • Sharing your insights through posts and replies. 

  • Creating responses to foster discussions. 

These points serve as your stepping stones to attaining specific ranks and ascending the leaderboards.  

At ShiftSync, we appreciate the importance of velocity, and thus, we've structured our rank system around the dynamic world of Mach speeds, featuring a total of 16 distinct ranks. Once you reach Rank 6, your username undergoes a captivating color transformation, signaling your ascent within our community's hierarchy.
