Hi,

I am getting an intermittent error “Error while connecting to database. Please check your connection information is correct”. I recently upgraded the ODBC driver to version 18. Is it something related to this - Did anyone face this error?

@SAILAJA ,

Databases in some cases have been afflicted with this problem by the stage of updates on ODBC driver, especially with your mention of updating to version 18. There are certain versions of drivers that bring a bit inopportune incompatibility or need slight configuration to work in harmony with ToscaSQL.

You might want to check for the following options and try them:

ODBC Driver Configuration: Make sure that the details of connection (host, port, username, password) are correctly set up in the ODBC driver for version 18.

Rollback to Previous Version: If the issue arose after having upgraded the driver, try arduously reverting the ODBC driver to the previous version to see if that resolves the problem.

ODBC Driver Logs: Implication lies with driver logs, some possible clues that would give extra indications on what might be causing the error.

Firewall/Network Issues: Intermittent connection errors can arise from firewall/restrictive policies on the network. Make sure that your network configuration is clear.

Let me know if any of these help, or if you need further assistance!
