Automation of VAADIN Application

Vaadin application is little complex where it uses dynamic id’s and complex class names . The best method to scan this application would be taking an anchor on the page and make in unique and then use this anchor for identifying all other controls of the page .

Also you can use multiple properties to make the control unique from the properties section 

Also leverage xpath and try to see if it gets unique 

if all the above donot work then try using Tricentis Vision AI to scan the page .This is complex application and you need to give some more time in scanning this application to make it stable.

thanks for the answer. It sounds like there is no “best practice” for the framework. 

We will try the standard methods to identitfy the controls.
