Convert excel to csv and csv to excel using Powershell.

Solution:- Convert csv to excel:Step 1: Use "Tbox Start Program" to open powershell.exeStep 2: In the argument section, give the command:- $xl = new-object -comobject excel.application$Workbook = $xl.workbooks.open('{CP[File_Path]}')$Worksheets = $Workbooks.worksheets$Workbook.SaveAs('{CP[Excel_Path]}',-4143)$Workbook.Saved = $True$xl.Quit()Here, FilePath: you can provide the path of your csv file.Excel_Path: you can provide the path where you want to save your excel file. Does Tosca provide to set up the testcases execution on Dex Agents by the schedule?

Hi,I like to execute the test cases on Dex by their timing. For example, run test case 1 on Agent 1 at 3 pm, run test case 2 on Agent 2 at 4 pm, etc.Let me know if that is possible!

Best practice on how to work with reuasble test step blocks and a multiuser environment?

Hi All,what is the best practice on how to work together in reusable test step blocks?We now have a library but in order to change a block that's inside the library the user has to check out the complete library.Other users are now locked out of working with the other blocks.Do people create multiple libraries? Or is there a trick to only get the block you want to edit checked out?

How to save the report with some desired name on a specific path using TCshell commands.

Execution report_PDF""C:/Users/sonia/Desktop/example.pdf"but getting error at line  "C:/Users/sonia/Desktop/example.pdf" that unknown command.Let me know how to achieve this.Thanks

About the 'Condition' property of Reusable TestStepBlocks

Like in this picture, we can use the Condition property to control the behavior of some steps or folders in a RTB.But I am confused about the syntax, for example, why must I use double quotation marks here?If I use single quotation marks like'xyz' == 'abc', in this case it seems the condition will always be True (Although obviously string 'xyz' does not equal to string 'abc')Is there any document about this Condition property?My biggest problem is, take this picture as an example, if I try to pass a Configuration Parameter as {PL[Operation]}, the condition property will not work as I expected, it seems that it only accepts hard-coded strings. Is there a way to translate the value dynamically? Thank you very much. ----update---I've read https://academy.tricentis.com/applying-conditions-on-reusable-teststep-blocks-in-tricentis-toscaSadly it does not help to answer the question about the {CP[]} >< and also, why do we need to change to 'Action' == "Login" from Action != NULL ?

Tosca provides Standard Module ‘Selenium -  Run Selenium scripts’ which helps to run selenium jar files by giving path name. Unanticipated beefits of Tosca?

I am a sales guy at Tricentis. I have a prospect asking me “what are the unexpected benefits of Tosca?” We have talked about all of the expected benefits (300% Plus ROI. Faster releases. Better quality releases. Increased risk coverage. Overall reduction in cost. etc) but she wants to get a feeling for the unanticipated value that her testers may experience.The list I have so far is:- you can use it for scraping data from websites and other applications. - it forces you to build modular vs monolithic test - You can use it for data loading- You can use it as a general purpose macro engine to tie together business processesAny other thoughts? What value have you gotten from Tosca that you weren’t expecting?

How do you write your test cases?

I want to ask a question that is both simple and complex to answer: How do you write your test cases?Why do I say it is simple?Well I mean according to some definitions testers write test cases and since they do it often it should be easy. Also there is a ton of information online on how to write a test case, what should it contain, so again, easy and simple.Why do I say it is complex?Well, a PM once told me that the tests should be written in such a way that a person coming from the street should be able to run them. I mean that is not impossible to do but it will take time, a lot of time. One has to find a way to explain concepts that are not really in the day to day dictionary ( API for example).I think that they want somenthing like this When tests steps are really clear - YouTube 16What do you think?
