Workflows
We’ve made workflows more flexible and easier to manage, allowing your team to maintain control while reducing administrative overhead:
- Work Smarter with Tailored Workflows: New Default Workflows for qTest Requirements, qTest Defects, and Jira Issues allow for faster setup and customized configuration to support your business rules.
- Precision Management: Assign workflows at the Records Management Policy or Record Type level. This includes safe state mapping when changing workflows on existing records, ensuring data integrity during transitions.
- Enhanced Visibility: Gain full visibility into state changes with Workflow State Mapping Results, providing a clear audit trail of your record lifecycle.
- Administrative Flexibility: Site Administrators can now create, clone, edit, and delete workflows directly from the Web Portal, and Domain Administrators can move records to the next state via a new Available Triggers dropdown, reducing friction in daily operations.
Named Approvers: Enhancing Accountability and Focus
To streamline approval pipelines and improve individual accountability, you can now assign tasks to specific individuals rather than broad groups:
- Targeted Assignments: Enforce named assignment globally, per route template, or per task to ensure the right person is notified.
- Reduce Inbox Clutter: Notifications and tasks appear only in the assignee’s specific queue, helping your team members stay focused on high-value tasks.
- Maintain Momentum: Vera now supports automatic reassignment when records are re-routed after a revision or rejection, ensuring approvals don't stall.
Expanded Integrations: Accelerating Business Insights
Our updated integrations help you get business-critical insights faster by bringing more of your development lifecycle under Vera’s robust control:
- Full qTest Lifecycle Support: Vera now supports routing qTest requirements and defects for approval, complete with full status transitions and record controls.
- Tailored Jira Control: Choose exactly which Jira Cloud projects display the Vera panel and align workflows to support multiple approval events throughout an issue's lifecycle, ensuring compliance at every stage
