The usage of AI is constantly changing because as the tool grows so do the possibilities.

I started, similar to most, with simple prompts and simple tasks:

  • Requirements review and clarification ( which to be fair was mostly hallucinations as answers)
  • Suggesting test cases based on requirements and then based on UI images. But here it did not have context and the results produces were junior level at best
  • Small code snipet for automation, but not because I did not know how to do it, but because I was either to lazy to write them or wanted AI to do some suggestions.

However now that the products are better I use it more ofter as a little helper. AI agents read a ticket for me and suggest better responses since they can access the code, the tickets and the full documentation. In test automation I write less code now but do review all the agents work to make sure it is following my desired framework.

What the usage will be in the future I cannot tell now but I do hope and think that AI will still be a copilot and not the pilot.
