Good day Polina,

Here is my response :

Functional and Non-Functional Testing.

Functional testing confirms the system does what it's supposed to do the features, business logic, and workflows match the requirements.

Non-functional testing confirms it does that well enough for real users performance under load, security, usability, reliability. A checkout button that works perfectly for one tester but buckles at 200 concurrent users has passed functional testing and still isn't shippable. You need both to sign off on a release with real confidence.
