By doing hands on practice where possible.

I am using AI at levels of  my work including QA, DevOps and Development. Its quite helpful for speedy work.

I’m already using AI, especially for easy repetitive tasks or simply as a helper on a topic that I’m not so advanced.

Using AI for creating utilities to help QA Automation engineers automate faster / generate testdata faster

AI is everywhere and understanding and training it to get what is desired keeps us on top

I see myself leaning towards AI for a day to day needs in testing to quickly automate an application and maintenance free as well.

Need to equip ourselves to latest trends and AI Trends is awesome now a days.

I am beginning to document how AI can reduce manual effors, shifting toward exploratory & risk-based testing, while AI handles the routine regression.

I see myself becoming more integrated, helpful, and capable every day, helping people simplify tasks and make smarter decisions — but always in a way that complements human strengths, not replaces them.

I see myself leaning into AI as a powerful assistant to enhance productivity, automate repetitive tasks, and support smarter decision-making—especially in areas like cybersecurity, data governance, and reporting—while staying mindful of ethical use and continuous learning.

My current job is moving into AI QA, I will be learning it through Plural sight, I am also looking into ISTQB certification.

  • 1.Understand better
  • Be more creative
  • Work across different apps/devices
  • Do more complex things

Use AI to:

  • Generate functional test cases from requirements or user stories in Jira Xray.

  • Convert manual test cases into automated ones (e.g., turn Gherkin or plain English into Playwright/Pytest code).

  • Use tools like Testim, Katalon Studio (AI-powered), or Copilot to suggest assertions or test validations.

API Schema Validation & Mocking

AI can help us:

  • Generate API mocks based on OpenAPI/Swagger or example payloads.

  • Auto-generate schema from a payload response to save time on JSON schema definitions.

Exploratory & Visual Testing

  • AI can predict risky areas based on change history (test impact analysis).

Security & Load Testing Assistance

  • Use AI to suggest common vulnerabilities based on API request patterns.

  • Generate load test scripts (e.g. JMeter) from real traffic or logs.

Data Generation and Test Insights

  • Use AI to generate realistic test data (e.g., tenant info) matching NZ formats.

Natural Language to Code

  • Speak or write "Test login flow with invalid credentials" → Get Playwright/Pytest/Selenium code instantly.

What I start doing now:

  • Use ChatGPT/Copilot to assist in test case generation, code snippets, and doc writing.

  • Try AI-assisted API schema generation for new endpoints in your projects.

  • Use AI to create test cases or defect reports base on my prompt.

First of all I should learn how theses AI and LLMs are actually working, and try to figure out the aspects in which AI can add value to my testing without break the security guidelines and privacy, more importantly I should learn how to test these AI and LLMs.
