By Aurélien Lair, Co-organiser at CTMI remember the first time I tried to navigate one of my own applications using just a screen reader. It was a humbling and frankly, frustrating experience. As testers, we spend our days obsessing over performance, security and UI consistency. Yet, far too often, we treat accessibility (a11y) as a mysterious, specialised discipline that requires "expert" status to even begin.I remember this coming up at our meetup. This topic sparked a deep discussion (resources, time, costs, you name it) as it is an industry-wide challenge. But the consensus was clear: accessibility shouldn't be treated as a separate job for a specialized team. It’s a core piece of quality engineering. If we are serious about building software that serves everyone, we can’t ignore the barriers that many users face simply because they don't fit our "standard" testing scenarios (1.3 billion people or 16% of the global population experience significant disability according to the World
After attending Oracle AI World, one thing is clear: Oracle is all in on AI. From embedded agents across Fusion Applications to the AI-native Oracle Database and OCI’s massive model-training capabilities, Oracle is positioning itself as the platform where enterprise AI comes to life. The energy was infectious. Every session, demo, and conversation carried a sense of acceleration: faster decisions, faster workflows, faster innovation. But beneath the excitement, one question kept coming up in my mind (and in quiet side conversations with customers and prospects):How do we move fast with AI without breaking what’s already working? That’s where Tricentis comes in. (Learn how in our webinar, Future-proof your Oracle automation.)Ensuring confidence in Oracle’s AI-powered worldAs Oracle weaves AI deeper into its ecosystem, the complexity of change multiplies. New agents, new data pipelines, and new user experiences mean constant updates and constant risk: of broken processes, data discrepancie

Hi everyone,Thank you to all who joined my session “AI Took My Job, So I Took Its Seat at the Table.” It was an absolute pleasure sharing my journey of how a single question from a CTO — “Why do we need human testers when GPT can generate test cases in seconds?” — led me to rethink the role of testers in the age of AI.If you couldn’t make it to the webinar live, the recording is now available hereIn the session, we explored: How AI can accelerate certain testing tasks Where it still falls short without human judgment Why the true value of a tester lies in asking the questions AI cannot imagine Now, I’d love to keep the conversation going. This thread is your chance to: Share your own experiences with AI in testing Challenge my perspective Ask me any follow-up questions you didn’t get to ask during the webinar Here’s the recording of the Q&A section that happened at the end of the webinar: Feel free to drop your questions in the comments below. I’ll be here to respond and e
Performance can't be an afterthought in today’s CI/CD-driven world. Teams shifting perf tests left report ~30% testing time savings.Performance testing is evolving fast. What used to be a late-stage gatekeeping step is now becoming a continuous, integrated process. As teams adopt modern architectures like microservices and shift toward CI/CD pipelines, performance issues can surface earlier and more frequently. In response, new trends are shaping how we test under pressure.Vote and let us know why you chose that option in the comments down below – we’d love to hear your perspective.
Once feared as a job-stealer, AI is now being welcomed as a helpful co-pilot in QA, with 75% of organizations investing in it to speed up testing and boost quality. QA professionals across performance, load, functional, and exploratory testing are all curious (and maybe a bit excited) to see how AI might make their work easier.Vote and let us know why you chose that option in the comments down below – we’d love to hear your perspective.Poll Question:
