Hello, I didn’t receive an email to register for the Rahul Parwal’s Mini course, so I was unaware that one session had already ended. I registered for upcoming courses today. Will I get a certificate, please?

Hello, @Charmi07

You can catch up to the course by doing Rahul’s exercise here. And if you attend all of the upcoming 3 sessions and solve their respective exercises, we’re willing to make an exception.

@Mustafa Any update on the recordings.

Where can I learn what RAGAs are? I read here about that the first time.

Hello, @Sebastian Stautz

I would recommend attending the next session of our course for Gen AI for testers on the 20th of March where Rahul will touch on what RAGAs are and their role in understanding the current landscape of QA.

Then why do you do the poll, when people are likely not be educated about RAGA?
Will there be a recording if I miss the course?
And I wish there was something to read. At least a short description. I don’t want to skip through an hour lasting video to find the right section.

Hello, @Sebastian Stautz

We are polling our community, to know which topics they would be interested in covering in the future.

From what I understand, RAGAs are related to AI in testing which is a new and developing technology, which I myself don’t know a lot about because I’m not a tester. I have searched for it and the results seem to be about different things.

That’s why we enlist the help of experts like @parwalrahul to inform the community.

As for the recordings, we will have more info on that after the end of the course which is due next week

Thank you.

@Sebastian Stautz : Hi Sebastian, Hope you are doing well :)

RAGAs are a RAG evaluation tool.

Maybe this gives a good overview to know about it: 🚀 Get Started - Ragas

If you like to see a short video, check it out here: RAGAS: How to Evaluate a RAG Application Like a Pro for Beginners

My bad, I too confused RAGAs with RAG. However, I am open to discuss and explore this more.

My point is that without having the slightest idea what RAGA is (which I now have thanks to @parwalrahul) I could not tell if I’m interested in learning more about it.
The information from @parwalrahul is helpful to decide on the poll. What have been good to have it in advance. I wish that for the next poll.

For others from the video description:

RAGAS stands for Retrieval-Augmented Generation Application System, designed to test the effectiveness of language and embedding models by simulating real-world queries and assessing the responses.
