Whether this JavaScript file in NeoLoad will impact our response time in our results or not?

I have included the JavaScript file in the transactions which will perform read and write operations during load test. I want to know, Whether this file inside the transactions will impact the response time in my results or not?

Hi Balachandran,

I tried to add a JavaScript with a sleep function to my transaction, and had it sleep for 60 seconds.  This did in fact cause my total transaction time to be over 60 seconds.  So, to answer your question, yes, it does appear putting a JavaScript within a transaction will affect response time.  I have included a screenshot below.

Can you possibly instead put the JavaScript slightly outside (and after) the transaction?  That way, it will still be initiated, but will not affect the response time of the transaction.

HTH,
