Within the Test Case Design there are two options called “Copy table to clipboard” and “set values from clipboard”.

They could be very helpful but they don’t actually complement each other. You can’t insert what was copied. If you try you are told that the amount of elements don’t match

Of course I copied from an element with the same amount of elements. Where I’m I going wrong.

Paste somewhere (notepad++) and see what it copied.

I see that it copies also table titles even if you copy a row.

Of course I did that. One of the first thinks i did: Paste into VIM. And it looked a lot like CSV with tabs instead of commas. Finding out what “Copy table to clipboard” does is easy.

The question is “How does ‘set values from clipboard’ work”?

I tried just coping the values without column and row header. So it seems the "set values from clipboard" doesn’t use tab separate values. What does it use?
